How to Choose a Spinning Rod Sock
If you own a spinning rod and you’re looking for some unique and fun new clothing then look no further than Spinning Rod socks! If you love to fish then you know how much a good pair of quality fishing stockings can help your hands, back, and fishing lure (and especially your rod! ). That’s why it’s important that you wear high quality gear every time you go into the water, and when you do go – you want everything to be just as comfortable as it can be. Luckily, Spinning Rod Socks and other such clothing items provide just that, and more.
Sizes: One size doesn’t fit all…not at Spinning Rod socks, either! There are different sized fishing rods available for sale, and the sizes range from small, medium, large, and oddly-sized (we’ll get to them soon). This is why it’s important that you pick up two or three sizes of the various rod socks that are available, so that you can find the right one for you when you go to purchase. The sizes are designed to fit common sized fishing rods with them, and so they will stretch and fit comfortably without binding and injuring your hand or causing your back pain in the process. Spinning Rod Socks made for these types of larger rods are also designed to fit loose shoes with them (provided they’re not too big), which will further prevent damage to your favorite fishing gear.
Material: There are two common materials used to make Spinning Rod Socks, cotton and polyester. Cotton has the benefit of being very comfortable to wear and will help wick moisture away from your fingers. Polyester is much more durable and resistant to abrasion, and will keep your rod and socks looking new for many years to come. To keep your baitcasters and spinning rod safe, cotton socks are recommended over polyester. Both materials are naturally resistant to dust build-up and will keep your equipment looking good and functioning at its best.
